Discussion:
We have many truthers because the American people repeatedly find that their presidents lie to them. Bush and Obama are in fact "doing the work" of whoever they say are our current "adversaries", sowing the seeds of doubt about our own democracy!

No wonder why there is such a thing as a truther when it comes to what
our government in Washington says.

It goes for the Iraq War; it goes for the 9/11 attacks; it goes for
Osama bin Laden as the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks; and it also
goes for Obama's claim of ignorance of Hillary's private mail server.
Who can believe what they say? Obama publicly denounced Trump for
refusing to promise to accept the vote result on election day as
reported by the government because Obama thinks that it would make
people doubt that this country has a real democracy.

OBAMA: Trump's refusal to commit to accepting election results
'dangerous' rhetoric Oliver Darcy Oct. 20, 2016, 5:20 PM

The president, campaigning in Miami for Hillary Clinton and Senate
candidate Chris Murphy, said that "when you try to sow the seeds of
doubt in people's minds about the legitimacy of our elections, that
undermines our democracy.

"Then you are doing the work of our adversaries for them," Obama
argued. "Because our democracy depends on people knowing their vote
matters."

http://www.businessinsider.com/obama-trump-election-results-2016-10

I would like to ask Obama what happened to our family's votes for
Bernie Sanders during the primary.

The DNC aided and abetted HRC's nomination without having counted our
votes. So what exactly does that say about our democracy? As far as
we are concerned, we don't have a democracy. And I would like to say
to Obama: "Judging by your argument, I am certain that we don't have
much of a democracy. Why? Because you, in cahoots with the DNC and
the HRC Campaign, have decided not to count our votes. So by your
argument, our votes did not and would not matter - unless, of course,
they are votes for Hillary!"

The way Obama has been lying and covering for Hillary can mean only
one thing: Our country doesn't have a real democracy!

So don't blame the truthers who question whether the U.S. has a
democracy. It is our corrupt ruling class in Washington that is
destroying the country's credibility.

And you, President Obama, are one of those who are "doing the work of
our adversaries for them"! And that is a high crime and misdemeanor -
in fact treason - in the truest sense.

Clinton Aide in New WikiLeaks Email: 'We Need to Clean This Up. He Has
Emails from Her' Oct 25, 2016
http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/10/25/clinton-aide-new-wikileaks-email-we-need-clean

There are fresh revelations this morning after WikiLeaks released a
new batch of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's hacked emails.

An email from 2015 shows Hillary Clinton's top aide and lawyer Cheryl
Mills writing to Podesta, "we need to clean this up," an apparent
reference to communications between President Obama and Hillary
Clinton in which she had used her private email server.

"He has emails from her - they do not say state.gov," Mills continued.

Guy Benson @guypbenson

Obama flagrantly lied about Hillary's emails. Hillary's team: "We
need to clean this up."

The email from March 7, 2015 was sent after news broke that Clinton
had used the private server while she was secretary of state.

Obama said in multiple interviews that he didn't know Clinton was
using the private server and learned about it from news reports.

Ed Henry reported the latest details this afternoon, pointing out
another Podesta email in which he and Mills talked about emails to and
from the president.

As Republicans in Congress moved to subpoena the emails, Podesta
wrote: "Think we should hold emails to and from potus? That's the
heart of his exec privilege. We could get them to ask for that. They
may not care, but I(t) seems like they will."

Henry said the emails suggest that President Obama may have known more
than he said.

Bret Baier reported today that the White House has maintained that
although Obama knew Clinton's email address, he did not know the
details on how the server was set up.

In a CBS interview in March 2015, Obama was asked when he first
learned about Clinton's private server that she used as secretary of
state.

"The same time everybody else learned it through news reports," he
answered.

The new email comes on the heels of a report that revealed top Clinton
ally Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe's PAC gave nearly a half-million
dollars to the state senate campaign of the wife of an FBI official
who would go on to help oversee the Clinton email probe.

Donald Trump on Tuesday called for an investigation into President
Barack Obama after hacked emails from Hillary Clinton campaign
chairman John Podesta, published by WikiLeaks, suggested Obama may
have known about Clinton's use of a private email server.

In an interview with Reuters, Trump called the revelation "a big
thing."

"This means that he has to be investigated," Trump said.

During a rally in Sanford, Florida, on Tuesday afternoon, Trump
addressed the latest emails.

"But newly public emails - prove otherwise," he said of Obama's
knowledge of the private server Clinton used while she was his
secretary of state.

The Republican presidential nominee said "now I understand" why Obama
supported Clinton in the presidential election.

"Because he didn't want to get caught up in the big lie," he said. "We
have to investigate the investigation. We have to investigate."

The latest hacked emails showed top Clinton aide Cheryl Mills'
response when Clinton's traveling press secretary, Nick Merrill,
forwarded a tweet that quoted Obama as saying he learned about the
private server "the same time everybody else" did.

"We need to clean this up," Mills wrote to Podesta. "He has emails
from her - they do not say state.gov."

The exchange seemed to imply that Obama knew about Clinton's use of a
private email server, which would contradict what he said during an
interview with CBS News in March 2015.

When CBS White House correspondent Bill Plante asked Obama when he
learned that Clinton used an email system outside the US government
for official business while she was secretary of state, Obama
responded, "The same time everybody else learned it through news
reports."

The White House has addressed this supposed inconsistency. Press
secretary Josh Earnest said after the CBS interview aired that Obama
"was referring specifically to the arrangement associated with
Secretary Clinton's email."

"Yes, the president was aware of her email address," Earnest said. "He
traded emails with her. That shouldn't be a surprise that the
president of the United States is going to trade emails with the
secretary of state. But the president was not aware of the fact that
this was a personal email server and that this was the email address
that she was using exclusively for all her business. The president was
not aware of that until that had been more widely reported."

The FBI investigated Clinton's use of the server, but ultimately
declined to recommend the Justice Department move forward with charges
against her.

The Clinton campaign has tied WikiLeaks to Russian hackers looking to
swing the election in favor of Trump. US intelligence has claimed
Russia was behind the hacks of American political organizations in
2016.

Totally boring guy.

Let me rephrase your post: Hillary sent Obama emails from private
server, he may have or may have not noticed that they were not from .gov
email address. That's it.

I think he probably knew, Kerry is the first Secretary of State to use
gov address.

Btw, why are you so concerned about email secrecy when you have no
problem with Russians stealing and releasing them... such hypocrisy!

What a stupid post.

1. You just can't keep repeating the same old bullshit about
Russians hacking or realising anything. There is no proof and
it's dull. Might have been the Chinese too, Germans as a revenge
for humiliation of their chancellor, US internal stuff like
Snowden, internationals like anonymous etc. Countless options.
Besides Putin said they had nothing to do with it.

2. Why wouldn't he be concerned with email secrecy? You don't
think e.g. Trump is very concerned with email secrecy and
national security?
USA is spying on German chancellor, their complete military and
political ally, so it's reasonable to expect that the countries
that are not allies spy on each other even more. Everyone spies.
That's why the intelligence and counterintelligence agencies
exist.

So if he recognizes the fact that somewhere is leaking, it doesn't
make him a traitor. Au contraire. You're a fool indeed.

There is plenty of proof. There are digital fingerprints all over the
documents, the documents have been on Russian language computers. Also
they are released through wikileaks and russian news agencies, latter
sometimes earlier than wikileaks lol. Also attacks against DNC did come
from Russia, that was seen from IP addresses.

100% Kremlin. No doubt whatsoever.

Or shall we believe neocons without any proof yet again after all

Democratic party should take care of itself, it's not a state
problem. Besides, if those people can't keep their things safe,
what makes them eligible to run entire USA? They have problems
running their party, Hillary breaking the law with her emails,
and they've rigged election in their party to screw Bernie.
Obviously they're very incompetent and corrupt.

Trump was playing it smart and with great disguise. Basically
inviting the perpetrators to do it again, to expose themselves.
Smart man. A patriot.
